Has it rained on them yet? I’ve never had any noise u less the windshield was dry.
I picked up some today for the truck and the wife's SUV. I'll report back.
Guess Dave was right!!No you won’t. Because now you can forget about it.
I was just at his house for the weekend. He hasn’t got to use them yet. Dry as it gets.Guess Dave was right!!![]()
But when you combine this combination...game changer.I haven't given much thought over the years to windshield wipers. At times I have let them go til they fall apart before buying new one's. The one thing I do get though for all of our vehicles is good windshield washer fluid that has Rain-X in it. That stuff is great and in light rains you don't even need wipers most of the time as the water just sheds off.
The salt might have done them in finally. Not sure if I'll try and clean them off again or just replace them.
Rubbing alcohol is what I use.I remember when I was younger a neighbor down the street used to use kerosene to wipe his blades down. Said he got twice the life out of them. Watched him doing it one day and asked. Not sure if it really works as I've never tried it.
What’re you using too clean them Dave? They needed cleaned again and I needed a set of rotors...broke down mostly because my daughter will be taking this vehicle soon. You can see they still look fine after all these years. That is a new and old one. $50 well spent.View attachment 127796View attachment 127797
