Windshield Wipers

Bought wipers for the wife's CRV. I was bitching (cause I'm a cheap skate) about the cost. She said, "I guess they can be Christmas presents then." In hind site, maybe I should have put something else in her stocking along with the wipers. That is another story. lol

So they weren't quite due. Replaced the rear wiper. Front two wipers have been in the back since December. We took off for the Smokies last week. On the way down I'm like "These wipers suck. Are the new ones still in the back where I put them?" Nope. She took them out before the trip to make room. WTF? She wanted the roof top carrier for room. There were only 3 of us. We were gone a week. PLENTY of room in that vehicle. So we endured the week with one ripped wiper (which still worked about 80-90%) and one so so wiper.

I'm truly not complaining. We had a great time. Only a few times we actually needed wipers. Just figured you all may get a laugh out of it. Murphy's Law in full effect. 7 months they had been in the back! SEVEN! :p

😅😅. I gave up on that get every last drop out of the old one and carry them around until I need them routine. It always ends up like what happened to you, you won't have it when you need it. I've even matured enough to replace both headlight or turn signal bulbs instead of just the blown one and put the other one in the glovebox. If you only do one it's a guarantee the other fucker will have walked off by the time you need it, or be covered in lotion or something. 😅

I got the PIAA silicone. So far so good. This will be my first winter with them. Supposedly they stay pliable better than rubber or rubber silicone blends in cold/ice.

PIAA 100% silicone. They have lasted me 2 years and still not streaking! They do great in winter because they aren't rubber and get too stiff

I put a set on our Durango over a year ago based on your recommendation and have had zero problems with them streaking or missing.

I posted this in May of 21 and they had been on there over a year by then. They're still there and working great. So 4+ years.

Only took you 3+ years to report back🤣

Bosch products are what my mechanic stocks. He says it eliminates having to do the work twice when other companies products fail...

I've had him as my mechanic since 1992. He is my age and EVERY CAR he has maintained for me reaches 200,000 miles. (helps when you buy Toyota's)
Our Camry our son drives just hit 300,000. I drive 30k plus a year on average and the wife does 20K a year average, but she doesn't work but one day a week 5 miles from home she only shops...
Currently 205,000 on the 2012 Avalon and 189,000 on the 2008 Lexus 470gx.
We had another Camry we put well over 200,000 on then sold it to a guy who's son eventually wrecked at 330,000...

It is time. Bought the truck 10mo ago. We shall see how they do. Most brands are $15-20 each so $42 shipped with sales tax for the Bosch is well worth it.
