A few days ago I washed the deck down, right now it is white with snow. I can hear frozen rain/sleet coming down as well. The morning drive should be fun, I'll be up early.
Dale, I just got through spreading salt all over the place, yeah it's still got a way too go.... Wait till Easter... lol.. It'll hit us a few more times till then lol...
Sounds like money to me. Just about 2/3 of a semi of salt left. Wouldn't mind not sitting on it til next winter.
Sure got quite a bit of frozen rain overnight. At least we had power this morning. Surprisingly, the drive into Cleveland wasn't too bad.
Slow drive for me this morning, pretty slick on the roads that I took. Seen a pretty nasty wreck on the way in as well. I think it was slicker than what it looked. I'm ready for spring!

Lost power briefly last night. Neighbor had a large limb that luckily feel into the road. Was scarping my wife and I's vehicles off this morning and smelled wood burning (not typical for my neighborhood). Looked out back and another neighbors tree was catching fire from the power lines. Called that one in and the fire department was there checking it out in no time.
Expecting another three to four overnight up here in the flats as Geezer would call it lol... she's not going out gracefully lol....
I've been telling everyone "don't get hooked on this weather!!!! Mother Nature is like a sadistic crack dealer, gettin people hooked then it's that much more miserable when the temp returns to where it's acutally supposed to be.
It has been spitting freezing rain all day here. It's not looking very nice out there right now lol. Good thing I have a wood burner just incase the power goes out

Looks like the coyotes aren't safe yet, we got about 4" already and it's still supposed to be coming down hard for several more hours.
I hear ya J, it hasn't stopped since I got home. I'll have my alarm set for early again.

We are standing at 4" right now and finally slowed down a bit but the drifting has picked up now lol.

We got some nasty sleet/ice/junk last night, about 2 inches worth, and then a white covering. Tonight we've gotten another 2-3 inches and counting.

Trees took out the power...wife, son and 2 little dogs are at brother-in-laws. Lab, Rugrr and I are hanging out in the cold tonight.
