This is the view off the ridge about 200 yards behind my house. I love heading out here after snow and just looking at the hills. Usually I take the binos and scan for deer.

That first clearing you see under the powerlines that looks like a saddle used to be a favorite hunting spot of mine. I bounced an arrow off the back of a beautiful 10 point there one year and got a nice 8 with a gun the following year sitting on the left side of the saddle. Unfortunately, all the property is now leased by guys from PA and no one is allowed on it. I had a really nice honey hole behind me at one time... that's what sucks. I could take my quad down through the hollow and be set up in a few minutes with my climber.
