Track was 3/4 of a mile (zig-zaggin)) over 3 propertys. Blood changed from med red to dark brown and thinner consistency. Was ready to pull off until am... and Maxx was chewin tail!
When that tail pops off and he starts growling... I get this funny lump in my throat...

My cousin up in Mogadore Ohio has a dog named Penny that has started off the year with a few does, Penrod Deer Tracking. Great to see the success already this year!

Yesterdays track was stolen out from us... talked on and off w/hunters friend for 17 hrs (gut shot). Then hunter went with a different tracker... First question we are supposed to ask is have you talked to any other trackers? Not supposed to step on toes.

Todays track was short 150 yds +-. Adam hit the trigger and called Maxx. We tracked for him before, so it was great seeing him again. Thats his biggest yet.

And Maxx claimed it!

Hunter said straight in the shoulder, virtually no blood, I told him: dead in 200 yds or will be back on camera. But we also told him get right back in the stand, maybe an even bigger one will come along...

Big shout out to Andy Davis for such a nice deer! Andy was worried about the shot, called us from the blind... His voice shaking... I shot my target!
There was no blood or hair at the hit site. Found 2 spots finally and told Maxx "Track It"~~Nasty thick and Maxx took off. Short track and Maxx made it even shorter!
ANY DOUBT... Back out and call Maxx.
Those of you who have seen Maxx work, will be amazed at where he's at today.

3 tracks today... all were dead ends. Got to show 2 of them blood 1/2 mile from hit site. Both were bright red blood/muscle hits. The one buck ran onto a liberals property. Looked like muscle hit, so Karen didn't bother me much. Maxx ran like a badass all day. We have one lined up for after dark...stay tuned...
Did get to see my first albino squirrel in the wild.

And then this afternoon comes around... Deer was gut shot, found with a drone stretched clear out but alive. Drone went back in and the deer was gone. Drone could not find the deer again and Maxx was called in...
