I can't understand why deer makes people do such stupid shit. Stupid, selfish, evil shit. All over a stupid deer.

Incompetent deer hunters suck the most. They make us ALL look bad.
This one just may top them all!
Get a call from a Michigan hunter in Mansfield area. Said he shot a Very Nice 10 pt buck, might be his best yet. Another deer tracker told my hunter dogs were not very good in the snow. That he should pay 350. for a drone~~HIS DRONE! Plus 100. if found dead or alive. I was pissed! Gimme the address! We're on our way! Was 1 1/2 hrs from my house. Had snowed very hard right after the shot. Put Maxx on it and he shoved his head into the snow, snorted real loud, and was kickin up dust!!! Didn't take long and I seen it up ahead. Fist bumps, buddy hug from him and he says, "Thats my biggest buck yet!" I tied Maxx, took 16 descent pics....
Then we heard " HEY! WHAT THE FUCK YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? Karen showed up with a fucking gun and threatened to shoot us! My hunter let her know he tried to call and nobody would answer the phone. I personally did not know we had crossed over the line by 30 yds. I tried to reason with her, But she proceeded to call me names I can't even spell. I told her to please call the game warden and I would talk to him. She told me he would not talk to me because it was her Dad. Found out later that was a lie. Back at the trucks without the deer, here comes 3 sheriffs... First one gets out and says so you boys gave that woman a really hard time did you and then started laughing. I told them my side of the story and said guys I'm sorry but she reminds me of a meth head! The sergeant smiled ear to ear and nodded his head at me. Then I said, I take it you have talked to her before? MANY TIMES was the answer. Sheriff's department was on our side and exhausted everything they could trying to help us get the deer. Many calls have been put into Richland County wildlife and Columbus without even a return call 20+ hours later.
As I was leaving the property I told that woman don't you dare touch that deer, that's a wildlife violation, it needs to lay here and rot. She said it's my deer, I'll do whatever the fuck I want with it!
Sad part is I know my hunter tried to get permission he is one of the nicest well-mannered outdoorsman I have ever dealt with on a deer track. People really are fucking pathetic anymore!

Anyone threatening to kill me with a gun accidentally crossing a property line I would have thrown my arm out going for the phone to call the cops.
We told them the whole story and they said they believed us.

It just seems the cops could have used her threat as leverage to get that deer ....
They said they tried.
Wasn't even her property! Said it was her brothers. But she said her dad was a game warden also, so what do you believe?

If its not in her name she can not get you for trespassing it would have to be the brother.
UPDATE: Richland co. game warden called my hunter... he talked to the landowner and done his best to try and retrieve our deer for us. Her brother refused so the game warden suggested he does not touch the deer or possess any parts or else...
This whole situation just plain sucks. You think the warden would at least be able to get it to donate to a food bank or something. You tried your best so that’s all you can do.

One of the cops will probably go back & take the antlers......they didn't really do much to help.
All 3 said they did not hunt but totally understood our side. Anymore... What do ya believe?
