Nice deer! Maxx tore this track up!
Doing the right thing on a gut shot definitely paid off this time... the deer was jumped from its first bed by the coyotes I believe and ran over here.

I set up a 65 gallon deer feeder today. While I was doing it, I looked up and saw Maxx coming through the woods with this shed. Maxx 1 Dad 0

About a week ago, Maxx came out of the old house w/3" coons tail stuck to his lip! Next day I think I see a raccoon w/short tail from the deer blind...

So most of you know we were blessed, we got to go down and track deersurgeons deer and it turned into an epic event.
Maxx really does have some Billy goat and Pogo stick in his genetics. We got to finish up our best year ever, with a priceless great time!
I'm not gonna lie...I dropped to my knees at the carcass to say Thank You! I wanted this deer more than most people would understand. I knew the big picture and seen it all slide together at the last minute. Priceless!
