Wrapped a new knife.

I bought some knife blanks off ebay for the purpose of wrapping with paracord. I followed the tutorial here: http://www.itstactical.com/2010/03/20/knot-of-the-week-strider-knife-paracord-wrap/

Here is a picture of the knife. You can see that I left extra paracord at the end which I tied a lanyard knot in to serve as a wrist sling:



Here is a close up of the wrapping:



This knife will probably end up being a back up knife for me.

I also have a mini skinner knife that I plan on wrapping tonight, however, I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do it. I'm leaning towards just doing a plain wrapped handle.

Here's the mini skinner. Just a plain wrapping with a hand sling. This sling fits over my four fingers just behind my knuckles. This knife should make a nice gutting and skinning knife. It's small and thin with a nice sharp blade and a serrated top with a finger hole. Getting a good solid grip should not be a problem here.
