I wish I still had the picture from my old college roommates camera that I found in the woods by chance. I stripped naked and hung upside down from the tree in front of it for like 60 seconds to make sure it got a few good pics. It would qualify for this thread.

It’s a grey...here are two pics I got this past month...one grey and one red. You can definitely see the difference...even with nighttime pics...

Greys have a bushier tail and a slimmer face.

It’s black and white pic. How can you tell?

I was a trapper before being a deer hunter. Plus worked for a fur buyer for 5 years. The black stripe down the tail and black "Flair" at the tip is a tell-tale sign.

Thanks I have zero experience w foxes. Seen 3 one day while bow hunting, they walked past at 15 yards....pretty cool.

Well the guy 3 houses down tagged out and i heard through the grapevine that he took a crack at another buck and made a bad shot. Time line adds up but who knows.
