Thanks everyone!!! Yeah i shot it with my o'l trusty 870 that i got for christmas in 1978. 3" 12ga. remington sluggers. That spot on his chest is the exit and the slug went in right behind the shoulder on the other side. When we rolled it over i told my buddy that it was a heart shot but when i gutted it found out that it went right above it. I shot twice and i'm thinking i hit it on the second shot. When i made my may across to the other side of the thicket i look down and see the nice red spray that we all like to see after the shot. I call my buddy to come over and while i wait i fill out the temp tag to put on it as i sure he didn't go far.
