Your “go to” gun season tactics?

My tactics are property specific. Opening morning I will hunt a property which seems to always have hunters to the west and to the north on neighboring properties. Twice they have bumbled in to hunt and bumped me a buck. 2016 and 2019. I will likely stay out for a little bit if I don't connect opening day.
The other property I will let people push deer into as well. I have a game plan for Saturday if I haven't had success by then. I've watched a dandy twice this month from this property. He comes out of an off limits property. With a bow it would be sketchy. With a gun in hand I will have the right winds (if it doesn't change before then) and I believe I can ground hunt with the Ghost Blind and get a crack at him should he show up.
I have a third property I have not hunted all year. One property sold and they are building a house. It has the area altered. I could ground hunt gun season or take the climber in midday though and wait for other hunters to shove them up to the area I would be hunting. It tends to happen there as well.
The consistent pattern on all three properties relies in pressure from surrounding properties. Let the deer filter in where they feel safe. Slide in and tag one. That is the plan.
