I’m pulling on a couple trends we’ve seen here this year...daughters have put down some damn nice deer this year! She’s also never killed a buck and we will be on our own property.

Will have both kids out just like every weekend. The only thing changing is adding orange and leaving the xbow home and taking guns. Good luck all and be safe!

I borrowed my Dad's .44 mag Henry off him which is topped off with a red dot. I have the boy half convinced to get up early and go sit in the blind with me. If he does..... this is his target. The shot is setup at 35 yards.
....if he doesn't go....anybody got a kid I could borrow for the day?

I expected this thread to blow up today! Eating lunch and heading out with Maddy. Pulled cards and it doesn’t look promising, but I promise we will have fun.
I’ll be heading out shortly with Klay for his last youth weekend.

Jay got the shakes and missed a dandy buck this morning, he was hunting with mom. Maybe tonight... Isaac and I got busted by a doe we didn’t know was behind us. Decent temperatures to hunt. Can’t complain.

I missed this thread and posted in the "from the stand". First deer in was an 11, with really chocolate horns. We were done by 710 or so .
