Youth gun

Yep, I'll have the boys out. However, with them in the teen years, they always have stuff going on as well. Their excitement to hit it during youth gun was more when they were younger.
Looking like my oldest, Kody, will be on stand on Saturday since Klay has basketball and a function at a friend's house.

Then Sunday they will both be hunting.

Hope we see some kiddos posing with deer this weekend!

Yes, mine will be wearing ear protection. Both kids where glass for reading so I'll probably have them bring those along.

Adding to the previous question, can bowhunters take either buck or doe? I thought it has been doe only in the past

Nothing changes if you are bowhunting by yourself, just gotta wear the required orange.

Fixed the double and made a ground blind close to it. Going to put the boys in the double, then I'll sit in the natural blind. Blind is 10 yards from tree and allows me to maintain constant sight of the boys and make sure they're safe.

Levi finished up sighting in a few more rounds tonight. We will also be heading out in the morning.

That was a requirement during the early muzzleloader doe only 2 day hunt. That season no longer exists.

Will be heading out at about 2pm. Heading to a farm that only gets hunted these 2 days each year. Have had cameras out for several months and the pics have been pretty consistent.
