Calledit a day at 3:30.... pretty good first sit when she's in the driver's seat.

2-5 small bucks
3-4 does

only thing in range were two of the bucks

countless squirrels like there were times i could see a limit or more at one time

2- Bucks. Both got a pass. This one came out 5 yards beside us, dogging a doe.

My son is out in the field again for our last sit of the weekend at deer camp. He saw 12 yesterday and passed. He’s being picky….wonder where he gets that from…?

Just getting moving here. Some sort of stomach bug hit around 0300. Gonna try and rehydrate now and see how we feel. I couple of good bucks showed up here at the house. If nothing else Levi will be out here. No chance to slip in this morning as the place had eyes everywhere until they went to bed.

Use the buck target as a decoy and do some aggressive calling later

That first nuck reminds me of a buck we had around for years. Called him Train Wreck. Biggest asshole of a deer I've ever seen. He would have his rack all busted off as soon as velvet peeled every year. Those were in my trophy days of hunting. Should've killed him as it would've been easy with some calling.

After getting up at 430 in the morning yesterday, we slept in, filled up all the wood boxes and are lounging until this afternoon, my boys don’t have school this week so no rush. Hopefully we kill one with the evening hunt. Big thanks to @Dannmann801 for sitting with one of my boys in the morning and evening yesterday.
