I'll be out with my two boys, my buddy sitting with one, I have no cameras up and haven't scouted at all, going off prior years intel. The swamp bottom is completely flooded where the turkeys have traditionally like to travel through, I set up a blind on high ground next to bottom hoping this will be their alternative route having kicked up several hens walking out in the past.

Good luck to the youngins I hope they have ten times more success then us adults so they can make memories and spark or further spark the addiction in their soul to chase these thunder chickens ! Hoping to see some pictures and kill stories from the youth! Bighoun52 i hope your oldest connects!!!

It's a flooded, cold mess up here. Ty chose to sleep in vs.giving the field & woods a chance to keep one of his boots
Opening day down here. I’ve heard a turkey gobbling for the last week and so far haven’t heard a peep out of him…. No shots within hearing aid range either
