$200 each is about normal dealer price. Can find them for half that number on eBay. Probably Amazon also. Turf tires or floatation style bar tires is what I've seen. Could be more options that I've not seen. If you go from turf to flotation, deck height might be an issue.
I was literally just on ebay. Same tire for half the price. I'd like to have some input from users still.

Turf tires are less than satisfying with my yard. Even when bone dry I am not getting the traction I need. What are yall running and how do you like them? I priced the Raptor that comes on the higher end model Bad Boy...they are proud of them at $200 EACH! Figure I better look around. Whatcha got?
Still running my reapers and love them. The things I'm able to do on my zero compared to other family members is night and day. Very little issues on a family members hills and steep banks, when I use their new zero with the regular turfs even going slow as it will go it will still take off down the hill if I even get close to the edge. I can mow the entire bank with mine. Only issue is you can't just spin right around at full speed like on a regular set of turfs. You won't have any grass left after awhile. I have a few trees where I have some small bare spots from this around them even going slow , if its wet out mind your speed on your turns to prevent this. Other then that I wouldn't trade them for anything else just my one penny (y)

Those who bought Bad Boy mowers. Had anyone had any issues with the throttle or choke cables?

My throttle cable seized up, and after doing some internet research there is a design flaw(?)

They have a plastic coating on the throttle cable over the spring winding over the cable. The cable is then routed close enough to the engine and exhaust that the plastic melts, soaks through the wound wire and seizes up the cable.

I'll take photos when i fix mine. I have to measure it so i know what length to buy.
Yep

Mine was fixed under warranty and they have a heat shield to protect it that they added.
I just spit on that Thang and gave it the double hand reach around. Good as new.

It's all melted to shit. Choke cable too. Second time I've had to just get angry and break the melted plastic with force. Kid text me earlier and I thought of your post. Figured I'd bump the thread. Not a big deal honestly. One and on the fuel lever and one on the rpm knob. Give it some force in unison and it breaks it free.

Finally got my big boy mower. Ferris ISX800 with a 60" deck. The Husqvarna Z254F just isn't enough mower now that I've added more mowable acreage. I have a little over 2 acres to cut weekly. Plus I have a 4 acre field I would like to keep a nice mowed perimeter.

My first mow will be this weekend!

Where the fuck have you been? There's an important meeting/ outing coming up. You should come play. It's at Strouds Run state park.

Funny you say that! I have had it a week and haven't even been able to engage the pto. They never put in the axle sleeve at the factory and the damn part isn't even available. The dealer is swapping me a whole wheel assembly from another new one tomorrow. I had it jacked up and spun the caster tire and it was clunking and wobbling because it was just spinning on the bolt. Needless to say my confidence is a little low at this point. It's a good thing I went over it top to bottom before using it.
