I have a new one coming from Nixa tomorrow
Tiny is a great guy!!
The new one has carbon fiber limbs I am hoping it is a little more forgiving and a little flatter shooting
I have shot them before and if nothing else they are silent
Looking forward to hearing what you think of the new bow!

Jamie made the long drive down yesterday. We tried to figure out how many years he’s been coming down for a squirrel hunt but I don’t think we ever nailed it down exactly. It has to be 10 years or so. I’ve enjoyed every one and hope we can do it again.
Mason and Brian joined me and Jamie for the day’s festivities. We started off in Fayette where we found five to shoot. We took a mid day break while Jamie skinned ‘em before heading off to Brian’s big farm where we shot just one more on a short afternoon hunt. The dogs and the legs of the aging hunters in the group were well satisfied to called it a day. I think man and beast slept well last night. We only had one missed shot on the day, which was an offhand attempt at a gray that took the opportunity to find a safer place to hide. He was the only escapee.
It was a fine time with fine fellas and dogs.
I only took this pic, missed an opportunity there as I’m sure I’d have had some good ones if I’d have taken the time to snap ‘em.

Oh, forgot about that. I don’t know how much he took, honestly. I do know the video I took at the tree involving hand to hand combat with the squirrel would likely be banned from YouTube. lol. Brian should have kept that half a tail for his trophy room. Grabbing a perfectly healthy squirrel that is already in a foul mood is a bad idea for both man and dog. 😀
