Millions of people and for some reason, people don't hate on our basketball squad. WTF? I guess 99% of the haters think like Joe!!! :smiley_crocodile:
I do this year more than ever, Joe you just hate basketball because SEC sucks at it lol
I have NO disdain for OSU's basketball program. I think part of it is because I don't care about basketball near as much and the fanatics are not basketball fans. I truelly respect OSU as a football program but I would like to judo chop most of the fans in the throat.

I think it's a love hate relationship.. Sure millions of people like it. Same with OSU golf, lacrosse, cross country, chess etc... Obviously you'll hear less as the popularity of the sport declines. Football is king. I rarely meet a person that cares about basketball. I think most people could have gave a shit less if the NBA stayed in lockout for the next 5 years.
I agree with showboating getting out of hand. It's not as bad in college ball. It is starting to get there in college football. Running backs running their mouths because they got a 9 yard run, while losing by 17. Safties talking smack because they put a good hit on a receiver, After they caught a 25 yard pass on them over the middle... Just shut up and play.
You talking Kentucky? If so Caliparri makes Urban look like a saint. Hell of a recruiter and coach though.

Agreed.. The people that really torque me off are the ones who own 15 pieces of OSU gear and couldn't tell you the score two weeks ago... They might watch the OSU vs Mi game once a year but that's it.. . OSU logo gear is the "cool" and "in" thing..... Stupid mindless sheep zombies.. Can't stand em... Sure ever state has them. But this state is FULL of them. TOO THE GILLS.... That is my PRIMARY hatred for OSU. "Merchandising".... And because of these sheeple, OSU is constantly ranked higher than they should be in the pre-season polls.. It's all money.. For fucks sake they started this season at 18th... Come on.. OSU had a great football program. If they were in the SEC on any given year they could rank 2nd or 3rd in conference.

Yep. I can see it showing up in college football too... But it's been in college basketball for a long while..... I would watch basketball if they raised the rim 10 feet forcing teamwork, and passing... I love how these guys jump up and dunk and act like they're all bad..... Really, all you had to do was Hop.... You're not a bad ass. It's the equivalent of me dunking a nerf ball on my bedroom door and acting like a showboating idiot.

They are NOT going away. The south is where the majority of the good High School players are. Florida and Texas are the meccas. Why do you think they took in Texas A&M. The sec is drooling to get into the Texas recruiting scene.

I would agree that the SEC has been Dominating the past 5 years. Going back to 2007 the SEC was 33-20 vs the Big Ten in bowl games 1930 - 2007... Through 2010, the SEC leads the Big Ten with a 71-49-2 all-time record. Obviously, the two conferences are both great football conferences and pretty close over-all. That's why the SEC vs Big Ten debate is so much fun. But lets not kid ourselves.. The SEC is, and has been, a force to be reckoned with the past 100 years and will be for a long long while..... What the big 10 needs is a better, Mi, OSU, Nebraska, and Wis... Make all 4 of those a powerhouse where 1 will be lights out on any given year, and the other 3 damn good and you'll have a SEC esq conference. The SEC plays the toughest in conferance SOS there is.. And when it comes bowl time, or NC time that shows.. Get those 4 big 10 teams rolling and and it would be the same in the Big 10.

The SEC leads the Pac-10 63-40-5... However over the past 13 years the PAC 10 leads the SEC SEC 12-10... So I would agree if you said (over the past 13 years) BTW That's historical conference affiliation at the time of the win.. If you did it by current conference affiliation and went back to 1935 when the SEC was formed it's 70-42-7 SEC.
As for all time bowl victories by historical conference membership at the time of the win .. (Not current Conference affiliation then going back)
SEC = 367
Big 10 = 223
Pac 10 = 204
Womens basketball.....are you fuggin serious? The only womens sport I will watch is volleyball! Just how do they get those shorts on?
I can agree with you about some showboating in basketball, but that's mostly NBA. College players play a lot harder IMO and I enjoy college bb.
