OSU can't touch U of M for academics. Not even close. If you breathe you can get into OSU. If you can...nope not can.... HAVE out run the police and can "make your mark" you play for OSU football on scholarship. :smiley_blackeye:

I would still like to take that challenge to the streets. I would like to see the results. OSU has a bigger sampling of dumb asses. At least U of M has MSU to spread the dumb shits around. lol

I agree with Gern, I enjoy watching college basketball.
I'm not much of a fan of the NBA anymore though, a lot of lazy play in my opinion...
As far as the buckeyes go, I think Urban Meyer will have a positive impact the next few years. If nothing more than to create some positive energy around our football program which will hopefully sway some good recruits to come our way.

I wouldn't call us "haters"... More like realists. Personally I don't own a single piece of SEC or Bama logo gear... I own one NC glass from 69, and a paul Bear bryant coke bottle full of coke..
It is true that you're not an ostrich with your head in the sand like the majority of OSU "fans".. But the majority of the flock doesn't do the rest of yall any favors.. When the tourist drive up and say "look at them dumb ostriches with their heads in the sand" You unfortunately get lumped in.
My example is FB. Most of my "friends" on there are OSU fans. Now when all the crap came rolling downhill from the violations the fans wouldn't here any of it. 90% (at least) flipped the script and overlooked the lying and cheating by saying the players should get paid, or OSU is always unfailry targeted, or it is their to give, etc..... Always an excuse and weak ones at that. Even if you do believe they should get paid doesn't mean they should be able to get away with HUGE NCAA violations. Now, whenever anything is brought up about the newly anionted one (Meyer) it doesn't matter. Lets get back to winning.

I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this one..... As an SEC fan we have no room to talk... Tattoos, selling memorabilia. pfft, kiddy stuff.... We buy players mommas houses, give cash to dads, provide free use of beach houses, yachts, and high priced hookers... lmao
I think everyone just about does something. BUT if you get caught don't blame others. I speed. I know if I get caught I have to pay the price.
My biggest issue with any college football fan is when they wanna rub a loss in your face, then can't take it when the tables are turned, trying to come up with excuses.
Agreed. I have MANY close friends that are OSU fans and we don't rub each others nose in it....much. Give each other a little ribbing (or alot). But we don't let our teams reflect upon us personally or take it that way. Passionate...yes. Personal...no

I keep hearing all about excuses being made, yet I never saw a single fan make excuses for the Michigan game. Other than questioning the play calling on the last possession, those boys made us proud in a losing effort to a better Michigan team. We lost a couple games we could have won, but going 6-6 after all we went through, it is what it is and it is better than going 0-12...

OSU fans don't have to deal with the majotiry of asses because you generally agree or just don't get on the subject because of similar interests. Other teams fans are willing to point out faults in arguements. Kinda like I can call my sister a whore but if you do I will bust you in the chops sort of thing.

I'm fine dude, I'm just addressing what I've been hearing. You made mention of excuses along with Joe, Beener, and every WVU fan on my FB. I don't consider the list Beener threw up to be viable excuses either (nor have I seen a legit OSU fan use them) and I don't want to see OSU fans hiding behind any of those. I'm in no way twisted up right now. I'm so used to taking shit from this clan, nothing gets me fired up any more! I just laugh and do my best to keep the conversation going...
Two names to remember: Cardale Jones and Michael Thomas. Jones is a 6'5" 220lbs QB from VA and he made a killing throwing to Thomas (Keyshawn Johnson's nephew). Thomas is 6'4" 200lbs with SEC speed. It was also reported today that Urban Meyer made a few calls to FL and they players are flocking to Columbus including the top DE/LB in FL (No. 8 overall recruit from FL). So we are already seeing what changes Meyer can bring to the Big 10. I honestly believe if he stays 5-6 years, the Big 10 will be a different conference as a result...

That's never me... I'll be the first one to stand up and say Bama is playing like shit when they are... Last year when they lost to Auburn destroying their shot at the NC. It only took me the first quarter to start yelling at them to take their ass back to Tuscaloosa as they didn't deserve another NC playing like that. I don't make excuses for them, if they show up on a Saturday playing like shit, I'll be the first one pissed off at them..
