My wife use to use hair spray (way back when) She would simply hose em down till they couldn't move... Only then would it be safe to move in w/ a shoe. lol

Funny. I had some wasp in a pipe that was the top rail for the chain link fence. The rail had came out of the end cap and was open. Not having any wasp spray I went with the hairspray blowtorch. Worked like a charm.

When I'm not around, my wife always resorts to the hairspray approach too. Poor fuggin spiders... they just run until they slowly turn into a statue. lol

My wife is scared to death of spiders. When we lived out in the country, we had a lot of wood spiders. I came home from work one day to find my wife naked as a newborn, sitting at the table with the phone book open to exterminators. Apparently she was doing dishes and one came down from the ceiling right in front of her face it landed on her and she started stripping clothes thinking it was on her. It was extremely sexy and Funny as hell!!!

I don't know what kind it is, but we see alot of them when we are repairing stone walks and garden ponds. They seem to like damp places. Spiders in general don't bother me, but these guys just creep me out!....and they're fast little buggers!!!
