Been there, but since I bought the scent smoker I don't pay too much attetion too the wind.... Have yet too be busted and I have had them really close hunting off of the ground......

Didn't get out this morning. We were at hocking hills yesterday. I found myself strapped with the "papoos" baby carrier toting my granddaughter most of the day. My back is killing me today. I have been having lower back issues for a few weeks as it is, that didn't help.
Gonna sit with the heat pad for a while today and get out later.

All smoked up, sitting in my climber on a fencerow between a bean field and a corn field. Redcloud is on the pasture on the opposite side of the corn. Shits about to get real.

Wasn't too bad, I was wearing my brace. I like to fold my seat back and stand for the last hour or so. Had a bit of a twinge when I started moving around again after that.

Only deer I saw were about 3/4 mile away.

I definitely dropped the ball on Saturday in getting us some early points fellas. I've been shooting and honestly, I'm in my own head right now. I got some confidence in shooting some G5 Montec CS's tonight as I'm waiting on new ST Mags. The plan is to shoot more tomorrow and hope I've got things under wraps, then possibly hunt Friday night depending how this front comes in. I will probably just work on the baby room, then hunt Saturday morning and evening. Then take Sunday off to work on the baby room. I need to stick something to gain my momentum back...
