Cold front coming in this weekend, I'm planning to be in the woods as much as possible

Jesse, its all good. I lost a buck last year and ended up filling a tag a couple weeks later. You'llconect this year' I'm sure of it.

Drove to the end of our road and went left instead of right. I guess subconsciously I wanted to hunt our farm instead of the dairy farm. I've been thinking about my food plots all day and I wanted to see them, so that must have been it! If nothing else, it'll fulfill that need!!!

A doe and a yearling so far.... nice size doe but she didn't offer up a shot.... unlike her yearling who just didn't care lol... oh well we'll see what happens by next...... although this chipmunk is starting too piss me off hahaha

8 doe in total and only one shot that I didn't like so I passed on her.... Pretty good morning too be in the woods.... Heading back out if the rain holds off for the afternoon.... Leaves are dropping like snow most of the nuts are down..... And a certain chipmonk is going too die!!!!! :smiley_clap:

managed to get a couple hours after work tonight. had a cool encounter with a decent 10 point. could have shot him but he was on neighboring property i dont have permission for. gonna try again tomorrow.

Anybody make it out? I'm sticking it out until 11 grabbing a bite then hitting the afternoon as well.... was going to a backside state d but didn't lime the winds so backed out too the powerline right of way stand.... winds are much better here... so far that is.... rain went through and was gong by 5:15 this morning so here I sit lol.... good luck too all who made it out....

I stayed in this morning and painted the nursery. Checked cams at lunch and just pulled in to my parents place. Going to try and smack a doe tonight and actually find it!

Nothing this morning but cold wet feet. Just got settled in. First time hunting this stand. Wish I had cut in more lanes. I'm good if they are right in front of me but real limited to the sides. Good luck guys.

Complete bust lol..... Nothing moving tonight either.... Talked too a buddy he had a bunch of does around him and a shooter 10 point that wouldn't come in for a shot.... Oh well, hit in the morning and hopefully better luck... Sundays for some reason always seems good at this place.... Don't get it but what the heck right?.....

Same here. I spotted the silhouette of a small doe as I was walking out. That's it. Not even a squirrel. I'm planning to hunt in the morning but my back is really hurting right now. Tomorrow will be aq game day decision.

Just a small doe and 100" 8 for me tonight. And about 25 squirrels. I walked the same loop as I do to hunt this stand about 3 weeks ago for squirrels and only shot one. I could have killed 5-6 different squirrels just on the first half of the walk in! Fuggin' fuggars!!!

Went out and my buddy Tim finally made it out lol.... He sat on the right of way stand I sat in a double on an oak flat... First time for me in this stand this year, had a very large doe go by @ 8:00 about 70 yards away she was huge.... Couldn't believe it wasn't a buck lol..... She slowly walked off too the stand I was in yesterday evening lol... Oh well rush and roulette tree stands lol.... My buddy had two go by him out on the right of way and they never offered anything too him either.... Oh well going to take the afternoon off and at it in the morning again.... Hope y'all morning was good if you went out...
