Good luck Phil. We may go out tomorrow and then shoot that new .22 now that we have ammo.

Aww, that's sad.

This one is a 10 week old female poodle.

She is a good looking dog. Looks like she could be a good follower too :)

Had a small poodle mut mix when I was just a little feller. That dog would follow us all over the place and had plenty of energy to play all day long. The poodle has issues with seizure and we would always say he is having one of his spells. Would just flop over and start shaking like crazy for a few minutes from time to time. Zapped all his energy for the rest of the day but other then that he was a cool little dog.

I had a poodle mix mutt about 30 years ago. He was TOO smart for his own good, even learned to actually climb the links in the chain link fence to chase all of the females in town.

One of my friends called me when she got home from work and was mad as all get out. Seems her big female dog was in heat and he had climbed our fence, went about 2 miles to her house, climbed their fence and then stood on their porch while she backed up, so he could reach her. When my friend arrived home, there they were. Boy, she was pissed.

Anyway, this dog would play hide and seek. As soon as you said those words, (while holding him) he would go nuts. Once you let him loose, he would search all over the house. He would jump in and out of the bathtub, on the beds, under the beds and behind doors until he found you.

We always wanted to put him on the Letterman show for stupid animal tricks, but just knew that after he did his hide and seek bit, he'd be humping Letterman's leg!

He was a comical dog.

Cute dog Diane.

The boys and I got skunked on shed hunting. Drove the perimeter of a huge corn field the deer have been hitting every night. Crept along the edges a fraction of a mph. Not a single shed found. Still a little early for our area. Didn't want to go tromping through bedding areas yet. I saw two still packing antlers a few days ago. No sense pushing them onto other properties.

Funny you mention the visit to the neighbors lol. Our dog would go out at night before dad headed to bed and sometimes he would just take off roaming the streets looking for the ladies lol. I'm sure there was a few people not so happy with that dog over the years lol.

hide and seek game would have been funny to watch lol.

two more days of work and then the family and I are loading up and heading to the land of the gators for solid week. After the past few months of absolute crazyness at work this vacation is going to hit the spot.

Planning on hooking up with Willy while down there and wetting a line. Can't wait.

He won't disappoint. It was my favorite Florida fishing excursion ever. Reds and trout on top water in a torrential downpour made it memorable and we caught fish!

Just got done with some range time, shooting AR's with another Toozer (JohnROhio). I had some "moments" but it was a good time!
