Yeah, I didn't go out this morning because of the friggin white stuff covering the ground....dang!

I've been driving by a field near my house that has a finger running along the far edge next to a bedding area that has what looks like a shed like object laying about 120 yards off the road. I know the farmer and will try to get permission and check it out. If it is in fact a shed, it is a good one. We'll see...

I went to a spot I soooooooooo wish I could hunt, she already has a couple people that hunt so I'm the one with permission to shed hunt, and I'm fine with that first sign almost gave me some wood! Big ol cedar hit, and yes that's a telephone pole next to it and found one shed, and low and behold I think its the match from the last one I found, give me your thoughts on it, but I think it is, and only 3 fields away lol

I'm thinking they're from 2 different bucks, it's just hard to tell w/o tc pics. There are so many typical 8 point bucks around. Anyway, the left MB has some webbing and the right is smooth. The left G2 and G3 are quite a bit longer and have more mass as well and the left MB extends a lot further from the G3 than the right side does. Also the right beam above the bur has more stickers or is rougher than the left beam. I say this knowing there are plenty of bucks with mismatched racks, but this is just what I'm seeing.

Good finds either way!

The most determining factor to me, is the pedicals. The beading around the bases and the coloration, contours and circumferences. Just my opinion. Examine them closely.

Thanks, I'm very happy, the older the deer around here their antlers are off from side to side, almost like the tines would interlock if laid on top of eachother perfect example my old 6 pt from a couple years ago
