Guys I'm pumped for shed hunting this season. I gotta start working with Doc again more so than I have due to hunting season and work but I'm hoping he will pick it right back up. A couple days ago I hid three sheds in a near by field and he found all three... The only problem is he wouldn't pick them up and bring them to me that SOB! Starting to play fetch with a shed and he is rewarded with special treats when he brings it back so he is starting to catch on again. Will take some time but it's my fault for not being consistent year round. Look forward to sharing my stories and reading everyone else's!!!

Nice shed finds Ron and Ric hard to believe but it wont be long and we will be looking for sheds again, Just don't want them falling off just yet as still trying to put my tag on one.LOL

Haha, I hear ya Brian. It's way early, but I find some in Muzzy season sometimes. Most of those are bucks that have been wounded and his testosterone level has plummeted to survival mode. I usually use the late season for scouting and setting tree stands up for next year. I hit cut bean fields periodically for sheds too!

Well! This weekend I will start my trek in finding those precious gems of bone. Lol. I won't go all out, because this past week I saw 10 or so bucks, and all of them were still packing both sides. However, I will be looking over a farm that has produced some sheds early in the past. I will be hovering around in my Rhino with my 11 year old daughter. I don't hit the boot leather this early! Lol.

I took a short ride in the ranger today on a farm I hunt, didn't find any. Good luck Ron!

Lmao Phil...

I'm thinking I won't do to well this year due to the fact I haven't seen many bucks or deer for that matter where I do most of my hunting but I'm hoping where I have shed hunting permission is where I might luck into some....

I think it will be a down year for me but I hope not!
