Nobody posting this morning? Bunch of sissies out shopping with your wives? Sorry, just had to say it. Was going to hunt, but not with 32mph gusts. I am a sissy too.

So, here is my thought. I have on a flannel shirt, some socks with a hole in the toe, and some flannel pajama pants. (Stay back Tucky, I heard about you.) I know it is a sexy picture I am painting here, but as I was chuckling to myself about my attire this morning the thought occurred to me "You would fit right in at Walmart for the Black Friday sale!" How do I know this? We had a dusting of snow a few years ago and I had to throw salt at the Walmart and holy snikees were there some interesting wardrobe selections out there. Might could just throw on muh wife's slippers and head on out there ta fight fer the latest 'must have' Christmas gifts. haha

Enjoy fellas, hope you are not battling the crowds. My parking lot sweeper driver said Walmart lot was full between 10PM and 1230AM. Kohl's parking lot was filling up with people in line sitting on the concrete waiting at 1230-1am. He hadn't finished there to make it across town to the WM Supercenter, but I am sure he wasn't able to perform quite the sweeping job he normally does. If the non-24hr store on the west side of town was full, I can't imagine the masses at the super center on the east side. Hope you are all sleeping in and pooping turkey all day!

Yep. I have seen several emails floating around with this subject. I am telling you, it is real. We are at a Walmart seven days a week with our parking lot sweeping trucks. I have seen some crazy things. Not much from employees, but the customers at times are out there. I am not a betting man, but would put money on it if you were there when they open the lines for their "Black Friday" specials, you would have witnessed more than one person in their slippers or pajamas.

This reminds me, I need to look up an old email. It was a quote from a customer in some small town about the opening of a new Dollar General. The customer when ask what they felt about the store said, "It is nice to have some place close now, that way we don't have to get all dressed up like we are heading down to the Walmart or something." Huh? Maybe we need to see "The people of Dollar General". :p

I spent the day with my son since my wife and her mom and sister-in-law hit the stores. Got in the stand for the last hour when they finally got home.

Suburban is full of 18 packages of baby wipes and 18 boxes of diapers! HAAHHAHA...

Slep in until 10:00. Started a fire in the wood burner in the shop. At noon The daughter and I went and picked up the wife at work and took her to Sky Line for lunch. Took her back to work and have been playing in my shop all day.

Ive had a very good day!

Other than the gas station, I haven't been in a retail store yet since before Thanksgiving dinner. I did have to pick up a couple last minute food things for Turkey Day. Maybe today? Nah. I am splitting firewood this afternoon, hunting this evening, and hoping to catch the tail end of the Buckeye game.

Johnch- I don't mean this to be offensive, but it would take more than Fed22 at $15.99 with a coupon to have me in line at 415am! haha Sounded like a good deal on the 7.62x39 for sure. The blind I guess it depends on which one. There are many of them out there. If it is one of the 5x5x5' blinds by a name brand company, then it was probably one of their products they sell at or below cost in order to get people in the door! Good buy! Still not worth me standing in line at 415 though. Just sayin'. lol
