I agree, that is a cool find!!! Makes up for the tag thing last season lol

Thanks Dennis, but I don't think I would go that far. It is shed number 4. It is a cool shed with great character. It does not make up for the stupidity I exhibited last season though. Just helps fuel my drive to tag a big boy next year. lmao

I would sure hope so! He's a little young to be having ED issues! rotflmao

Well played my friend. Well played. And I hope you are right. I am too young to have to worry about non-functioning body parts.

Thanks thought Dennis. Booner? If I (or most anyone) has a shot at one once in our lifetime we are very fortunate. I would be thrilled with just a nice, solid, buck deer.

Funny stuff Flutie! You actually beat me TOO it! Lol

Man I'm whipped! I walked at least 4.5-5 miles today maybe even 6. Covered some huge bottom land that I haven't been to in a few weeks. Went to this years honeyhole(7 sheds so far) and found #20 for me on the year. Spotted it out about 80 yards with me binos and walked to within 15-20 yards of it and took this pic.

I haven't checked this part of the field in nearly 2 months but it looks to have dropped within the last month to 3 weeks. Started getting some algae already. It'll cleanup pretty easy though.

Darn nice find Ric! Congrats on #20! Hoping to get out this afternoon as well but work keeps getting in the way. Noticed a little bit of green up in the woods yesterday.

Going to try to copy some pics from photobucket if my tech-tarded butt can figure it out.

I think this is the buck this shed is from.

Well fellow Toozers! I hit the mother load tonight! I had an hour and a half after work to hunt. I walked about 2 miles and in the last 20 minutes I found 5 sheds. Finally hit 30, my 7th matched set. That's not the best. I found two left sides of two dandies. They are target bucks, that I have trail cam pics of. Both horns will break 70" or close to it. I will get the pics posted soon.

Heck yeah Ron! You sound all sorts of pumped up. That gets me pumped up to see them!

I am doing more studies on shed buck pictures. I am debating whether the shed I found is off this buck or not. I swear it looks like half the deer's skull is attached to the shed I found. I just can't figure it out. This one has some serious funk on his left side though. I dunno.

If this is the same buck then I would say from mid March to the end of March he has taken a turn for the worse. Either that or he shed and is starting to grow some funky bone up there already (which I kinda doubt.)

Thank you for posting those pics Phil! IMO, finding something like that is equivalent to finding a 80"+ shed. Awesome stuff and congrats!

Both sheds have great mass and character

These next two are a set

Oldie and chewed but still a shed

This put him at 30 so far. His awesome year just got better and if he finds the mates today or soon.....I'll hear him yell and see him fist pump from all the way over here in the SW.lmao
