Awesome stuff Nick! Great looking lab TOO.

I went for a 3.5 hour walk today searching for sheds and morels. Found nothing but a box turtle hauling ass! He was covering some ground till I walked up on him to take his pic then he slammed the brakes and froze. Lol

I encountered another yote today laying in a depression sunning himself. Called the FIL and had him sneak in from behind him across the field with his 222 but he couldn't get a shot. Huge mo fo TOO! I need to start packing.

Great finds AM! Nice looking Lab Too! I see that your in the Cleveland area, did you find those in the burbs?
A couple of Springs ago, I had a bridge job on Grainger rd.just off of 480. One Monday morning, I was eating my breakfast in my truck. Not 25 yards from me, was 3 bucks all carrying head gear bedded in a backyard. What amazes me, is that there was very little woods for th too live in. What little woods that there was, was along the railroad tracks. In all honestly, I kinda felt sorry for them. They don't have the luxuries as their brothers and sisters in southeastern Ohio.
I shed hunted after work, along the RR tracks and saw a few buck rubs and beds, but no sheds were found.

I have had him out on two different real runs now. One in the real woods and one run in the burbs. He is doing pretty great so far, even though I have spotted them before him I let him find them first. He goes nuts when he finds one so he is catching on fast. I have never found a shed up until this week and now I am addicted!

Yeah. Kinda funny the way that works. I can relate.rotflmao

I had been out looking for a season and a half. While on my way out coyote hunting I walked right into one. After that it just kind of came together. I am not sure what it is about the first one that can be so difficult to find. Seems I hear this a lot. Find one though, and you seem to find several. Keep up the good work buddy.

Went for a short walk last night. Looks like the creek flooded the area I wanted to scan again. Continued around the bend to higher ground and saw a hen about 80yds out. I froze until she moved on hoping to see some followers. Nothing. Let out a crow call. No response. At least I know there is one turkey on this property despite coming home empty handed on sheds.

Great to hear you were able to get out and enjoy the outdoors anyway Phil. That hen was prolly near her nest. Still means there has to be some male birds around somewhere I'd think.

Ticks will probably be very plentiful this year Dennis. I haven't found one yet but I will when I go hunting next week....count on it! Lol

My buddy is in kentucky fishing and turkey hunting. He told me last night the ticks are the worst he has ever seen there.

He did find it solo! Third time out and couldn't be more proud. Except he dropped it three feet in front of me into prickers and got his treat while my hands got all tore up!

It's last year's, the tree rats put the hurting on it, did have an awesome time tonight other than the ticks again, wife and I walked up on a doe within 25 yds we both stared at eachother for a few and we walked away, she didn't move, then had two does walk directly towards us till about 20 yds and saw a couple block head bucks without headgear so we will be out at sunrise in those areas again
