just informed the ole lady a little while ago that i'm going fishing next weekend. rain or shine.
Sounds like a good plan. Will hook up Sunday or maybe Saturday evening and see if we can soak some bait for awhile
Spent the afternoon with a good friend working on food plot spraying and stands. Hung a new one, repositioned an old one, checked shooting lanes. . . Just general prep work. The spots he bush hogged on the 4th were sprayed. Really need to spray a few more but fitting it in between rains has been an issue. Sure felt good to hang a couple cameras as well!
Haha, I'd at least be running through the parking lot and all they way to the time clock! Lol

Got home from my moms place for an extended weekend at about 10 this evening. Had a great time with Rons family and our cuz Kevin and his family as well as mom. Lots of kids both young and old enjoying the pool on Saturday which was the best day weather wise but the catching up around the kitchen counter loaded with great food and the beer cooler kept us entertained and busy.lol
Took the kids fishing in the rain a couple days and they all got to reel in a fish or two. Shelby caught a painted turtle on a nightcrawler this afternoon which made her day but ole dad had to get the hook out of its snout. That was a first and took a few minutes but he was unharmed and released after a few pictures. Lol
Had a great visit and its nice to be home. Wish I didn't live so far away from my family. It sure sucks...

Glad you guys had a great weekend Ric! Looks like a lot of fun.
Yesterday my buddy and I were swimming in fields of poison ivy while working on the farm. TOO Good? I am crossing my fingers still, but looks like only a couple little spots so far. A few years ago I got peppered over there and it put me out of commission for over a week. I was miserable. Waking up this morning and NOT having my eyes swollen shut with the stuff was a huge relief.
Now I am going to hook onto the fifth wheel and pull her home to service the wheel bearings and prep for an upcoming trip to the Smokies!
