Went to Cabelas tonight before dinner looking for new boots. Mine have sprung a leak. Anyway went to the Bargain Cave and negotiated a pair of Dinner Pronghorns down to $90. Sold!

Remember the tag in the bargain cave is just the starting price. The will go down at least another 33% on most items.

Love those boots!

Cincinnati Oh

After this dinner (breakfast for me) I get to work and a guy brought in 2 crockpots of deer chili and brownies! So far this is turning out to be a GREAT Friday!! The only thing that would make it better is if I can kill a deer in the morning..

I'll tell ya what's good... that Milo guy.

Not only does he help out so many people with their bows, but he also was kind enough to let my son interview him for a class assignment. After that, in exchange for some of my empties, he provided some Skeeter Creek microbrews. I had the pleasure of sampling them tonight, and they get a thumb's up.

Thanks again Bud. The kiddos had a blast too.

Just got done meeting Don (Ricer) for lunch at the Buffalo grill, had a good lunch and some good conversation, we talked about everything from bear hunting to tree stands. It was great meeting you Don and shooting the bull!

What did ya think of the food Don? The grill usually has very good food but the double cheeseburger I had was definitely lacking in the taste department.

My Philly was good and the fries were awesome. I had heard that the food was really good from a few people but had never eaten there. I would go back again. There poppers were good TOO. And thank you very much for buying my lunch, that wasn't intended at all.

Good stuff Guys!! It's been too long since I've had a meal at the Buffalo Grill.

What's good? Kinda like what's funny... My gas is bad enough tonight that I can blame it on the dog, and my wife actually thinks it's him. rotflmao Sorry Timber.

Talked to the landowner of the farm we hunt. Let him know we would be coming down next weekend.
He proceeded to tell us that he had made some changes at the farm and just wanted to let us know.
He plowed 2 hay fields that are at the edges of his property and planted corn this year.
He then told us we better be ready this year because he is seeing more deer this year than he has in a long time.
They are traveling back and forth between the 2 new corn fields following the trails right past our stands.

Well my furlough was short lived although our pay will be an IOU for now first day back today and we had all the tv stations in a try county area on base filming 400 employees first day back.... It was a zoo.... We had some work too finish up that was out on hold due too the furlough and when ever you make noise the cameras seek you out.....

It was good getting back and although unemployment compensation is a good thing for those who need it.... I'm glad I didn't.....

Glad to hear your back to work J. I could barely make it through that video though. They kept showing this old, ugly fugger turning knobs. :p
