Glad to hear your back to work J. I could barely make it through that video though. They kept showing this old, ugly fugger turning knobs.

Those news folks got a rude wakening when I fired hat test stand up lol..... They weren't ready for all the noise.... Gotta hand it too the cameraman he didn't flinch..... She on the other hand backed up pretty quick....

Public affairs are nazis around here and it would of been edited out anyways lol.... The guy they interviewed works for me and if you would of heard the whole statement he in a round about way slammed congress lol.... That's nowhere too be found lol..... Michele Nicks is a nice lady who has been on base many times in her career and covers all of our deployments and the arrival back home.... She's very respectful and doesn't get in your face about stuff which I commend her for cause the last thing you need when you've been gone a while is too have a reporter interrupt your family time.....:

Yeah I remember all too well about having to mind my Ps and Qs while in uniform. Not that I did, but I remember them telling me to and getting in trouble quite a bit. lol Once while at Ft knox I got stuck on 2 months of USO duty at the airport because of a comment I made on the smoke block. It was about a month after 9/11 and these civilians were ranting and railing about it. I told one of them, "I don't know why this comes as a surprise, we financed, trained and equipped these terrorists for over a decade." BAM! Standing on the red carpet getting USO duty. lol.

The older I get the more I just think things vs saying out loud lol..... They may be as too control my comments too a certain extent but they can't my thoughts lol.... I'll just start laughing in a meeting and they'll ask if I thought what they said was funny, my response not one bit hahaha....

Great minds think alike ! I've got a chicken smoking in mesquite for the day. It's a damn shame the shade is hiding the smoke. I'll add it to my pasta for the weekend .....

I'm burning a combo of lump charcoal, hickory wood and a bit of apple wood. Temps are staying right around 250. In my spare time I'm digging taters, and might get some garlic planted.
