Finally got a chance to sit down.

Its almost as much work when you get home as it is when you are heading out.

What an awesome weekend!

The hunting was tough with the lack of mast and the higher temps, but the good times more than made up for it. Was great to see some familiar faces again as well as meet some new ones. and of course...

...NO FREAKIN RAIN!!!!:smiley_clap:

Big thanks to mrex! and a big congrats to the guys who harvested a deer.

Oh, by the way...

...The only picture of me was the one where I was passed out! Classic. Hey, This flatlander was a little pooped after running those hills all day!

All I can say is that was one of the most fun yet frustrating weekends I have had! All the fun was had at camp meeting all of you, listening to all the stories, the drinking of some beers and eating some DAMN GOOD food! All the frustration was in the woods with the lack of deer sightings. The 2 I saw Friday were out of bow range for 3 hrs, then one came to withing 30yds and I had no shot before she busted me with a slight head movement.. Oh well thats how it goes. All in all I had a great time and cant wait to do it again next year. Congrats again to the guys that got one!

Great job Travis! Congrats.

A huge thank to Mike for putting the boys on one of your spots. You helped light a fire in Mike and rekindled the flame for Austin. The whole way home they where talking about how they can get together and shoot their bows and hunting together.

There was more good food and drinks than you could shake a stick at. It was great to finally meet, Doug, Don, Chris, the Nickle brothers and everyone else that I met and might of forgotten to mention. Can't wait till the next time.

I'm sad every time I miss one of the TOO get togethers, and this looks like a really good one.

Again, congrats to all the hunters who scored and to the older crew who helped the younger crew out! :smiley_coolpeace:

Had a helluva a great weekend. Congrats to all the deer slayers. I know it wasn't easy out there and get one down is a huge accomplishment and you all should be proud. Glad to see the young guys getting it done. They are our future and I know they will do us well as they gain in years. Had a great time seeing the old TOO crew and adding some new fellas to the list of faces and names.

Huge thanks to Mike Rex for letting us have a great venue to hold this gathering of TOO members and for helping get the kids on some deer. (also for helping some of us old guys too) I will have to look at those spots you pointed out to me and Dave sooner next year because from what I seen they should be some great areas for deer to move in. If you could for next year Mike, could you take some of the leaves off the trees and small stuff close to the ground for better viewing of deer lmao. Just kidding buddy.

Had a great time and can't wait to do this again next year. One last thing, I am taking my .22 next year and clear out some of those squirrels since they seem to be over populated and in need of a population decline. I think they ate all the mast and left none for those deer forcing them to eat the grass out of the ditches at night. Crazy tree rats lmao.

Thanks for everything TOO!!!!
