I don't know what we got because there is a slight layer of ice over it. The dogs are breaking through that to walk.

Kevin, how much did we get? 4 or 5?

It was about 5 - 6". The rain opened up on me @ 0630 while I was clearing some of the drive. I got wet. At least the ice didn't turn out to be an issue. I wanted to take the wife to work even though it's 2 miles, but the roads weren't bad at all.

I didn't know it rained. That explains the packed down look and dogs crunching through it.

I think we've had our fair share of snow and I'm ready to get winter over with. :smiley_baby:

OH oh ..... I almost forgot. I have a funny story about my drone crash. After I retrieved it & got back to the house, I noticed there was a part missing. It wasn't that big of a issue since I already have replacement parts, but would be nice to have back just the same. Yesterday, I decided to go back & look for it. The drone landed on the inside of their fenced in yard. Nobody was home whent I retrieved it. We really don't know the owner that well, but I have talked to her in the past while walking the dog. The live in boyfriend of the gal who owns the house can be a real jerk, so I thought best to knock on the door & ask permission to explain & enter the backyard. Nobody answered. The gate was opened. I figured I could get in & out quickly & nobody would know. Well, I did & could not find the part, so I got out as quickly as I could & went home. Later in the day, I was outside & was looking for something out in the shed. I decided to start up the lawn tractor. That could easily bring attention to myself. I could hear people talking somewhere & when I looked down the street, I could see some guy walking on the back deck of the house where my drone crashed. I wondered what the odds were that somebody would be out there looking around right after I had been there a few hours earlier. I then wondered if somehow somebody saw me, even though I had sunglasses & a black hat on. I decided to stand out in the open in case that was the case hopefully they would see me. That never happened. Later as I was grilling, I thought about that, & figured the sherriff would pull in. That never happened either. So later this morning, as I was out in the driveway, my neighbor gal who's friends with the other, asked if I had been over there. I told her I had been & she looked at me kind of funny. So I told her about the crash & going over & knocking on the door & such. It turns out, & I had completely forgot about this, was that the woman's husband had been murdered a few years ago. She moved, got a new house, a new man & is very scared to open the door for strangers since she didn't recognize me. Apparently she did call the sherriff & friends. It was her brother I found out who was out on the deck ... trying to determine what I was after...lol. I'm damned lucky she didn't shoot me !

Dang, yep you're lucky LOL! Well at least now is a good time to get to know your neighbor more LOL!

On the snow side of things I am ready to move to Florida! I never in my life thought I would say that but this year has just drained me. Rush from house to car, from car into work, work to car and back home again. Been just brutal this year.........

That's just it. We don't want to. They're white trash. That dude is constantly yelling at the her kids all summer long & the others neighbors cant stand them. She was nice, but we just wish they would move out. You know how every neighborhhood has an Al Bundy ? Well, thats me & then you throw these goobers into the mix....lol

I would say we got every bit of 7-8 inches here. Got up early and got the walks cleaned off, then helped my grandpa plow til noon or so. Just got to work for my afternoon shift tonight. Side roads were still pretty slick but the main roads were cleaned off fairly well.

We had to get close to 10'' I went out this morning and cleaned my wifes car off and had to turn on her wipers cause it was snowing so hard. She was pissed it took her 30 mins to get there and 10mins after she got there they made it level 3 and sent her home lol

Yeah it seems like just North of us took the brunt of the storm. Putnam and Hancock counties are still on level 3 and they are just north/northwest of us.
