Very nice Steve. If that doesn't get you fired up nothing will.

I finally saw a small group of birds this afternoon right down the street from home. 4 nice two year olds... No beards quite long enough to drag but they'll be fun to hunt this spring.

Turkeys dont really care about blinds...

I totally agree. I've had 50 walk past me in a ground blind and never noticed me. I was laughing so hard they spooked at 10 ft. and just they just stood around and looked around and I'll be damn they never seen me and there I was 10 ft. away. Even when I moved my hands in plain sight.
Another thing I noticed is turkeys don't seem to look up. Sat in a ladder stand and they will walk under your stand. I tried my best during deer season to spook them by moving my hands and arms but no real luck.

You must have some really mellow turkeys. I have had them bust me while in a stand from 50+ yards. They can see like eagles man.

While shed hunting some yesterday I saw 11 longbeards in a flock picking thru a standing beanfield. This was on the same farm I hunt which has me pumped up but my track record in killing toms sucks ass TOO....lmao

I'll take a pic of this picked bean field after work. There's turkeys in it everyday. My buddies grandma owns it and we are going to her house after work to see if I can get permission, wish me luck!

Nice work dude! :smiley_clap:

Standing in the kitchen Saturday and the wife says there are turkeys out across the road. These fellers were out with some hens and decided to fly across the road and walk right behind our house. Me yelping at them out the kitchen window sent them scattering! Not a good start to my calling! LOL
