One of the baseball coaches in our community combined both last names with a hyphen. Now husband and wife both have hyphenated names, their kids too. Weird!
Wife must wear the pants in the family.

I'm in the believe the wife should take the husbands name. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I don't buy the career ID idea. If a professional has a good reputation it will carry over to the new name.
I'm old school in beliefs.

My wife took my name has never said a word about it. Now her sister on the other hand did the hyphenated name. But it goes back to what Jesse said earlier she's a cunt. Lol I tell her on a regular basis about it to. She thinks she's a princess and her shit don't stink. Non of the other sisters act like her she is something else.

My wife worked at a large university..all the women I ever met with hyphenated names seemed to be the type like..." I am woman...hear me roar". Basically women that as Jesse and a couple others referred to. The kind of women that make it clear that they don't need nor ever would need a man in their life to survive..

Had I had anything worth signing a prenup over, I would have. Or if she'd had had something, I might have. Its a sound business decision if you think you could follow through on divorce or do something to get your ass divorced.

Nope.... lol.... Doesn't really make a difference anyways she'll get half of everything anyways lol.....

That TOO!

Hopefully I'd get half of hers. I paid her way through Nursing School and now she makes the big bucks as a boss for a county hospice. I try like hell to show her how much money we'd save by me staying home and watching my boy and hunting and fishing for food every day. She just aint hearing it.

My sister hyphenated her last name because of pride of heritage. I'm glad my wife didn't ask to that.
