Yep. Went out and got some more broadheads and another 3 pack of lighted nocks and also added the limbsaver super quad to get the bow extra quiet. Just put them on today. Might shoot here in a little while.

Went out mid day and put up a ladder stand in a new area on the property. Cut some shooting lanes. While setting up we noticed lots of tracks and droppings all over so it looked like a traveled area. Also moved a camera by that stand to see what's coming by. When we pulled up to park at the edge of the bean field we noticed an 8pt buck in the beans about 150yds away. The about 50yds behind him was another 8pt. Both were on the smaller side. Hard to tell exact size being that far away but very cool to watch. probably around the 110"-120" range. Got to watch them for 20min or so before they disappeared.

Where is this bow at?!?!?

LOL......I gotta play the waiting game and then I have to have all of the money before they will let me take it home!!

Got a question out regarding the Limbdriver Pro V. I've been looking at them online planning my purchase and got to wondering since the cage around the rest is all aluminum do any of you put moleskin or something around the inside to help reduce noise? Or does the clip work real well at holding the arrow in place?

Nothing like waiting until the last minute to do stuff! Just ordered a dozen Easton Power Flight 340 shafts, 100 Blazer vanes and a pack of pink Nocturnals. Figured I'd go ahead and try the nocks since it seems everyone likes the ones they have. Now the real work comes...

I can't seem to get along with my Strother like I do my Mathews, so I'm stripping all the goods off the Strother and putting them on the Mathews. Hopefully by the end of next weekend I am up and running. With the Mathews being my baby, it won't take me long to dial it in, so I'll be good to go by the 27th!

The grip is the issue. I vowed to learn how to shoot it, but I simply don't have the time. I shot 6 arrows the other night at 30 yards and scattered them inside a pie plate. Got pissed and grabbed the Mathews and stacked 6 shafts inside a softball. With XXL hands, I can't get along with the Strother grip and after sending emails to 4 custom grip makers, no one is making or will make me a grip for it that will fill my hand like the Mathews grip. Its just a matter of form and getting used to it, but I don't have the time to shoot like I used to. It is a great bow and slinging a 475 grain arrow 300 fps is exactly the kind of performance I was after. However I can't live with how erratic I shoot it.

Hate to hear it, Jesse! I shot the Strother I had really, really well. But, I did spend a good deal of time shooting back then too.

My ducks, and Mason's ducks, are all in a tight shooting row now. We need to put up a couple more sets and there will be nothing left to do but burn some woodchips.

Almost game time!
