It sucks that my job keeps me from attending this. The only way I'd get to come is if it rained heavy enough that the farmers couldn't hit the fields. I'd love to donate a crapload of walleye for you guys if I could find someone to get it there. It's the least I could do to repay all the stuff you guys did for me

HA. Alrighty then. That was a mistake on someones part as I did not request that. So that means this group has both cabins reserved?

Who wants the other cabin?

Oh, Mike assured me there would be some deer in the park this year. Said every oak that could grow a nut did and so there is plenty to keep them in the park this time.

I wouldn't mind staying in one of the cabins. I don't know anything about them though. Such as how much it costs, where the cabins are, do the cabin dwellers just bring a sleeping bag?(I can see all kinds of "comments" already on that question) I don't want to step on anybody's toes so if there have been group/groups of people that have gotten them in the past then I'm more than willing to let them have first shot at them spots again.

Don, the cabins have 2 sets of bunks with a pad mattress. We usually just bring a sleeping bag and toss it on top and a pillow from home and you're set. The cabins are across the road almost straight over from the group camp spot. If I remember right it was like $22 per person but don't quote me on that

As far as I'm concerned, the cabin I have reserved is first come, first serve. I won't stay in it. So if you want a bed Don, that leaves 3 spots. I can call to confirm rates.

With the acorns being on, the spot me and Huck ended up at last year should be stellar. Huck, you coming down? If so, you and I will head back there to that point and sit on those rocks again. But this time we'll get there before daylight!

If you want to confirm the rate that would be great. I will definitely take one spot. I can't handle sleeping in the truck again and there's no way I'm trying to survive the "Snortex" with FullSnore again. Haha.

•Two Camper Cabins –each has padded bunk beds to sleep four, solar-powered lights, a charcoal grill, and a 48 quart cooler–$40/night.

Off the webpage.

Nothing fancy but this is what they look like outside. Beats fuggin with a tent.

Matter of fact that big ol pine tree in the front had a deer hanging it once as well as a small tree in the back of that first cabin lol.

Dan and I have had that cabin the first two years. Dan needs one of those spots, I could care less, I slept in a tent last year anyway as we filled up the cabin with Noah, his dad and Mason. I did not call to reserve that cabin yet, which is ok since apparently Jesse did. Whomever winds up in it, leave room for Dan. I'm sure he'll check in on the thread eventually, I just want to make sure he has a spot.

Like I said earlier, I'm not gonna step on anyone's toes but I will take a spot if there is one available after the regulars get theirs

Seriously, I'm opting out of the cabin. I just don't want Dan put out, so mark him down for one of the spots too. It's all good with me as I plan to pitch a tent in the group area this year. The cabins are fine, but I don't want to crawl that far again if I spend too much time around the fire. :)

And BTW, there were two hanging from that front tree last year and one more out back. :)

Don can have one of the 2 spots in my cabin. I figure you and mason and dan would be in the other cabin again. I know dan has his machine he uses for sleeping and needs the outlet.

Planning on it brother! That spot was a perfect setup...I had forgotten about that hunt. Damn good morning, saw some deer, found a great lookout spot, had that dog run through like it should have been a doe, and helped Brock's buddy drag the kid's deer. That was a fine morning! Not convinced on the getting there before daylight part, but if it's cool, I'd gladly lay one low for the freezer this year.

Now that I think of it, seems J always made the call to Shelly for one of the cabins and I did the other. Perhaps the cabin under Jesse's name is J's and we have not yet reserved the other....? I'll call her tomorrow and see. Still, if there is one still open, I'll be sure to reserve it for whomever wants it.
