Good luck guys, I leave tomorrow for a family vacation to Florida. I probably wont get much stand time till late October.

Had a fork horn, 2 button bucks and a doe under me all night, but Mr. Big didn't show up during day light. I could kick myself in the ass after what happened this morning, but that's hunting all in all it was a day in the woods with lots of action.

I took this Friday off and I'm hunting all week end. Jarrod has a by week for football so he is coming home from college. He won't have much time to hunt this year so I have that feeling something is going to die.
I'm off Friday too. Probably go out in the AM and Saturday. Sunday we are going to a new property to set a blind and stand. Kinda late, but we just picked up two months ago and haven't had time to go back after our initial scouting trip. We don't plan to hunt it until the rut, so it shouldn't matter.

Good luck Jesse, time to star putting some points on the board, I wasn't to amped to shoot the first doe I saw last week end because of the temps. This week end might be a little different, I might let it rip since Jarrod is home( I will have help) lol!
It is looking like Saturday will be my first morning in the woods. Not going to shoot unless its a big doe or something to hang on the wall.
Scratch that, got to work now. Furnace and A/C needs to be installed. Won't be till Sunday evening.
Yea I got out tonight for my first sit of the season. Kicked up a solo doe on my way in and ended up seeing three other slickheads but no where close enough to shoot.
Got a meeting after work on Monday and Tuesday so Wednesday will be my next possible chance and that might get wiped out by trying to prep for Stroud's.
