Team 14 - The Stick & String Snipers

Thanks Ric and Ron! Good luck to you guys also, I'll be checking in every chance I get. I was on vacation last year when Ric stuck Character so I am looking forward to reading something similar while Im gone.
 
Saw 4 does at first light this morning about 50 yards out that was it. In the stand now sweating my butt off. I feel like I shoulda stayed home and watched the buckeyes lol
 
Had a fork horn, 2 button bucks and a doe under me all night, but Mr. Big didn't show up during day light. I could kick myself in the ass after what happened this morning, but that's hunting all in all it was a day in the woods with lots of action.
 
I took this Friday off and I'm hunting all week end. Jarrod has a by week for football so he is coming home from college. He won't have much time to hunt this year so I have that feeling something is going to die.
 
I'm off Friday too. Probably go out in the AM and Saturday. Sunday we are going to a new property to set a blind and stand. Kinda late, but we just picked up two months ago and haven't had time to go back after our initial scouting trip. We don't plan to hunt it until the rut, so it shouldn't matter.
 
Good luck Jesse, time to star putting some points on the board, I wasn't to amped to shoot the first doe I saw last week end because of the temps. This week end might be a little different, I might let it rip since Jarrod is home( I will have help) lol!
 
It is looking like Saturday will be my first morning in the woods. Not going to shoot unless its a big doe or something to hang on the wall.
 
Slept in this morning. Decided to switch farms this evening. I sat on the rock I shot my buck off of last year. Jumped a yote walking in. Saw 3 does, a small 6, and a small 8. Anyone else make it out?
 
Yea I got out tonight for my first sit of the season. Kicked up a solo doe on my way in and ended up seeing three other slickheads but no where close enough to shoot.

Got a meeting after work on Monday and Tuesday so Wednesday will be my next possible chance and that might get wiped out by trying to prep for Stroud's.
