Today is my Friday. The wife wanted to have an outside movie night, so she rented a projector to play Lion King for the kids. She has a few friends and family coming over. I decided to drink beer next to the fire with my dog at my feet. Damn good start to my weekend!

I got to meet another toozer today, Rick (xbowguy) was nice enough to drive out to my house with a tenpoint scope for the crossbow. We got it sighted in within a few minutes and it's dead on with field points but shooting a little irregular with the 4 blade broadheads. Going to try a pack of slick tricks and see how they shoot. Thanks again, Rick!

If she takes after her sad she does! She'd come up and say: "Daddy... hot!" One of my buddies came over along with my dad. Fire burned hot and bright all night. Was a near perfect evening! Even got to listen to the local pack of yotes light it up just over the ridge from the house.

I dropped some blood for juno to track yesterday and we found a stand of 4-5 mature buckeye trees loaded with nuts. I have no clue how the nuts came to Washington state and managed to grow to maturity.

She is doing really good. I wish i had a deer hide and some livers. I started letting her smell blood on a sponge at 9 weeks old. Now at 4.5 months she will trail a 50 yard track with spotty blood. Ive heard its best to taking it slow. She is pretty smart and has a heck of a hot nose.
