Saw several deer one being a nice 8 with lots of mass moved over onto the neighbors property and came up behind me. There is a doe that has a tag with her name on it. There hasn't been a single time I've been to this property this season I haven't been busted by this bitch.

Some good rain is moving in. Not ready to be soaking wet and miserable. Got some stuff to do on the home front also. Maybe this evening.

I saw the radar this morning and decided to stay in. I hate bow hunting in the rain. Don't mind the cold and wet, hate loosing blood trails to it.

Sure would have been nice to have good weather for the kids. Addy and I sat for 2.5 hrs and seen nothing but a ton of squirrels. Heard about 8 shots, didn't know we had that many kids in our area....will be back out in our honey hole this afternoon and she has no restraint unlike Andrew, she will shoot the first one we see....lol

Kody and my dad are set up on one side of the pasture overlooking the "upper field" which has a Texas look to it.

I'm hunting the hollow on the other side. Pretty nice out since the rain moved out. Lots of roads got shut down here due to bad ice for awhile. Rt 22, Rt 7, and others had real bad accidents. We had to wait for the warm up to get back out.
