Anschutz KK 54 model in 22LR. It's a German Police Trainer from the 1950's built on the Anschutz Model 54 target rifle. At the time it was built I believe Germany was still under Allied Forces control after WW11 and wasn't permitted Military type firearms.
There's a Model KK 54 listed on Gunbroker.com now for 495.00 and if I didn't have this one I would buy it. These are rarely seen in the USA.

Oh yes it's as new operating condition. I don't really shoot my 22LR Trainers as it just a time consuming investment collecting thing for me. Looking for and research takes up a lot of my spare time. But it's been a good investment tool.
22LR USA Trainers are my 1st love in firearms. In the past I collected Mossberg rifles and displayed them with 2 friends. My best friend and display buddy passed away 6 yrs. ago and I just lost interest and broke up the collection and only kept rare and valuable models.
Since I got started tonight I'll post couple more.
I like your foreign Gun Porn!
Are you able to shoot it?

The top 2 are Nazi WW11 Mauser 1898's converted to 22LR by Israel around 1950. You will notice a "022" stamped on the one butt stock and the other has a red strip painted around the butt stock. The Israel did this so in time of a attack a 22LR rifle wouldn't be grabbed by mistake instead of the 8MM rifles they were using at the time. I always figured bigger is better in time of war.
The bottom rifle is a Mauser 1888 Commission Rifle converted to 22LR single shot. For who I don't know but the rifle has all the converted parts re-serial numbered stamped. No collector has ever seen one like it.

Several more rather rare 22 caliber Trainers.

I've enclosed a link to the British War Museum explain the British 22 caliber trainers. http://www.rifleman.org.uk/Winchester_Auto_and_Winder_ rifles.htm

Top to bottom.

1. Winchester 1903 in 22 Auto caliber from WW1 with less than 600 purchased by England and used for aerial training. It has all proper British Military Proofs and had the barrel threaded for a post war sound moderator (silencer).

2. Winchester 1903 in 22 Auto from WW1 purchased by the US Military in less than 600. It has all proper US Military Proofs.

3. Mossberg 42MB sold to England as a Lend-Lease rifle. Fitted with post war Parker Hale front and rear sights and a post war threaded barrel for a silencer. All proper British Military Proof stampings.

4. Winchester 67 in 22LR sent to England during WW11 as a either a Lend-Lease or a direct buy by England for the Home Guard training and defense if Germany invaded. All correct British Military Proof stampings. Barrel threaded for a post war silencer.

5. Winchester 74 in 22LR. England bought 600 rifles in 1941 and delivered in 1942 for Parker hale to convert into sniper rifles for the Home Guard. Parker Hale installed scope blocks and a converted artillery aiming scope which I am missing. They also threaded the barrel for a sound moderator (silencer), I've installed a fake silencer. I'm looking for the scope at this time.
The Home Guard theory was in case of a German invasion the snipers would hide in underground sniper hides and shoot Germans and British traitors with a silenced 22LR.

Well another muzzleloader season has come and gone, the knight disc elite didn't bark at anything (although the primer did go off) lol... First time for everything I guess lol... After cleaning I found the breech plug was plugged up to where you could see very little dal light thru it.... Cleaned it up and scoured the gun and other than a few scratches it's as good as new.... Rifling is a shiny as the day I bought it and I attribute hat too the bore butter I use.... Love this gun....

Does that have the red molded plastic primer holders like my Wolverine?
I firmly believe that my failure-to-fire at Strouds was due to my taking the primer holder off of the breech plug for a few hours (allowing moisture into the breech plug).

I love my Knight Wolverine too.

PS I like your Lion King snuggy blanket too, Simba!

I would say a plugged touch hole and the primer flame didn't reach the powder with enough flame to set the powder off. I always fire off 1 or 2 bare primers to make sure the flash hole is clear before loading to hunt.

I'll have to see what long guns I haven't porned out here yet...I know there's gotta be something in the back of the vault.

There is a pretty amazing collection here over the 1096 posts and a solid evening of gun porn pleasure to re-visit on a cold night. Keep em coming boys and girls!

Agreed Frank and I always put three primers thru the breech before loading it, but I may have missed cleaning the hole out last cleaning.... I thought I did but maybe I didn't.... I took it too the range before early muzzy season and then down too Strouds.... But in the meantime I'd say by what I cleaned out of it I'd missed it....

Beener, that lions been a mainstay on our bed every winter since 2004 when I brought it home from Kyrgyzstan.... It's warm and the wife likes the lion lol....
