Yes, things are dried up. It doesn't look like any of this is going to happen though. Someone said I shouldn't of asked the GW... They were right.

If you want to do it, just do it. There is nothing illegal about looking in a hole. If it turns out that you have to shoot your way out, well, that is legal too. How were you supposed to know that hole was full of blood thirsty yotes!

Come on Brock.....he is looking for a way to save face here. It seems I remember being in a shoot out for looking in the wrong hole once. Not much fun at the time...lol

Well, that may be. I wouldn't crawl in a hole with a yote, but if I were inclined to do it, I wouldn't ask a WO for permission. And if they caught wind of my plans, and told me not to do it, I'd tell them to kiss my south side as I headed north.

Agreed. They can't tell you what to do in that situation. The things are legal to kill by any means necessary.

If I decided to not do it on my own, I can assure you that if just say that. I have no problem owning my mistakes or admitting wrong. I will attach the email when/if he sends me one like I asked.

Just admit that you never planned on doing it in the first place. First it was flooding, then your back got fugged up, now the GW is whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Are you watching Looney Tunes on TV?

Giles,

What is your height and weight, I can't imagine anyone of average size fitting into a coyote hole/den. I go 6'3'' 260 so my ass ain't fittin down no hole.

If'n you go in pistol and flashlight first (like a good tunnel rat), make sure you keep a tight hold on that gun - if the yote was to knaw it outta yer fingers he might turn it on you and give you a taste of your own medicine - some of the lighter haired coyotes have opposable thumbs 'n' such.....
