Lettuce, Kale, Spinach, Romaine, and other leafy greens all in.

I did pull some nice winter carrots too.

What was once a pine thicket will now provide our family with lots of great food.
We did. This is where food plotting experience comes in handy!
I HATE having the back yard visible, time for some "natural" blockage and the sunflowers will add some color to that side of the yard that is nothing but green. Pictures another day.
My wife is into the garden thing pretty good. She does it all organic and heirloom only. 4 raised beds for the main part, 4x12, and the big growing vines go in another area. Every spring one area of our house gets taken over.
Joe, we just use horse shit from the neighbor. I get a good fire going and throw some on for a while. Then I pull it out and put it on top of the soil for winter. Turn it come spring an plant.
