The only one I saw all morning. He hung out for 40min.

Thanks guys haha I guess we will find out who shows up.. Not my first choice but she wanted a fall wedding, but on the flip side she hunts too so she has to not hunt for a few days too

Wasn't in a stand but I played around putting a stalk on two different bachelor groups of mule deer tonight because I was tired of looking for imaginary elk. Ended the night with close to twenty deer in range with two nice bucks in the mix.
All three of these guys were there

First time I've seen the buck in the first two pics but I've had the two in the trail cam pic in range 2 of the last 3 days. Pretty cool night and I think I saw a nice bull at last light but it was very dark. Hopefully I can find these deer next year. Closing the distance from 1000 yards on the deer was pretty entertaining, especially crawling over cactuses on my hands and knees lol. Also found my first deer shed of the year

Watched a dozen deer, mostly bucks, feed across the Mesa this morning for a couple hours. As they came up to a patch of scrub oak one of the bigger bucks started to get antsy and shake his head as if it was itching like hell. He proceeded to shred five different oaks over the next twenty minutes as he rubbed off all his velvet. Pretty cool seeing his antlers getting bright red covered in blood as he ripped it all off and the got them nice and clean. Also had a ten minute staring contest with a baby chipmunk two feet away lol
