Really like it.
Put a kwik lok on my bow also to hold my arrow on the shelf for those windy days if i have my bow hanging up on the tree.
Now just counting down the days till my vacation starts.
Will be off for 25 days.WOO HOO.
Just hope i get one in range.
Still sticking to 25 yds or less.

Damn it is finally here!
My freakin vacation has arrived,25 straight days of doing what i want which means trying to shoot a deer with the recurve again.
After shooting with Taylor at strouds and shooting some of his heavy broadheads i sharpened up some 150 gr wensel woodsman broadheads and also after shooting so much i added an inch length to my arrows as the others were a little short as my draw seems to be pulling all the way to my bow where the broadhead would touch.
Went out and shot some today and the heavier head doesn't seem to be much slower but damn did i notice a difference on how much better my arrows stabalized and grouped.

Finish up taking them across a leather block.
Well the time has come to hit the woods starting tomorrow morning.
Going to try to take a doe over the next couple of days, after that if no luck i will hold off for a buck and the wait till late season for a doe.
Damn i am ready to go.lol

I want to try some of those 150 grain heads! I have probs finding them around here. Gotta order online i guessp

Yes Gordo i have ordered from black widow bows and 3 river archery.
Just make sure you have the right equiptment to sharpen them. They dont come very sharp.
I could only find 145 gr field tips but black widow has 5 gr washers to add behind the tip to get you to 150.

Removed some weights from my carbons and it really cleared up my arrow flight. Really pleased with my shooting after that little session...
