2015 duck opener check in

Sitting here on public land for the opener . Aaron got here at 2 and Zach and I arrived at 4 . Got a few groups set up around us , but hopefully everyone plays nice . Hopefully no more groups arrive and crowd us . Sucks dealing with crowds but the public is usually good the first couple days .

Up at Killdeer. Got drawn last for any of the spots we wanted. Holding very little water. Hoping to get some birds dropping in after the shooting on the big spots get them moving.

Had 50 geese on at our blind. Thanks to a couple misfires, we only killed 3, found 2. Got live decoys on the water now.

Didn't do the great. Got our 9 woodies, and 2 mallards. Didn't see many mallards or teal

Hunted the river this morning with a buddy. Had a good start to the season. Would of been real good had we shot better. Gonna try to jump shoot em off the creek now.

Three green wing teal for us.We should of had more but a mix up on the don't shoot call. Trying for wood ducks this afternoon
