Is it me or does it feel like turkey season out here. The woods are as quiet as I've ever heard them, with birds chirping and the owls talking back and forth. It might be a little warm but it's a beautiful morning. Good luck fellers! Someone's gonna kill something today.
Total of 4 does worked past in range, then went in to the sanctuary. If a shooter follows their tracks today, it's game over. Now to sit and not see a deer for the next 10 hours. LOL
Heard a lot of movement in the brush before first light. Now everything is quiet except a few birds and an owl.
Settled in at the ridge. Nothing but skirrels so far.
The best part about today is the fact that for the first time in 7 years I'm in a tree with my son. [emoji41]

Doe bedded down on the ridge 100 yards out. Thankfully there's enough brush in between us I can move cause she's eye level and facing me.
Momma and the twins were here before daylight. Spike just came through looking a bit frustrated. Got a feeling the big 10 got tired of him and educated him about the rut.
Had a doe and three fawns at 28 yds. Have a doe tag, but she kept looking back in the direction she came so I waited. Nothing showed. Doe out of range. They are moving in Licking.
