Neighbor kids decided it would be a great time to take a walk through the woods and walk around our property and the neighbors to the south of us because "they don't have a nice piece of property to walk on like ours" says the neighbor parents. Sick and tired of this about to put up barbed wire around the whole property to keep them and anyone else out!

That sucks and I would definitely be knocking on some doors tomorrow but stay put! You got a couple hours for the woods to calm down and something walk by your stand. If you're already back inside get back out there!

Saw a fresh scrape on the way in and lots of sign, including a set of tracks about the size of my hand. Hoping that dude decides to come through and check it out. Lots of road noise at this spot. I haven't been back in here since I shot and didn't recover that buck about a month ago. Another guy who hunts the area says he has camera footage of an 8 with a limp. Hoping that's mine and I get another crack at him

My neighbors are firing off a cannon, so that's cool. In an observation stand near where I've been hunting. Had a nice buck worked by here last year and I hung this set just because of that encounter. We'll see what happens.

5 minutes later I hear a deep grunt. Here comes the big 8 pushing a doe. Thrashing trees and grunting. I had her at 5 and him at 10. No shots presented. Then they must have caught my thermals because they both wigged out and left. Disappointing but fun day. Like a roller coaster.

My oldest, Kody finally got to hunt since football ended yesterday. Put him in Klays corner with my dad since I'm at this banquet. The neighbor decided to mow his field which is where all the deer migrate from. Game over. They're on their way home.

I've had 2 bucks come through looking and I have one hot doe running crazy. She must be the crazy bitch on the block, because not a one will tend her! Guess they live in the deer woods too!

Another buddy is in one of my stands. Has a 6 pt breeding a doe rt behind him. Wtf...... and there's atleast 6 bucks in there over 125.

We have seen 6 deer and two dogs. The dogs ran off the deer

Just saw a nice 3 year old 8 cruising through the sanctuary. Good sign for tomorrow!
