My office window view shows the trees pretty still right now. Our building is up on one of the highest points in Jefferson County here in Mingo Junction. If it's even the slightest breeze, it looks like gale force winds here.

Funny, our HS baseball field is here as well. Wind blows straight in from LF. In April, our leftfielder basically plays right behind the SS because flyballs just die there. RF on the other hand, play deep! That cross wind carries that ball.

Anyway, fairly calm here for now in Eastern Ohio. Hope the forecasters were wrong so I can hunt tonight!

If not, may take advantage of the wind noise and move a couple sets for the final push of November.

Steady wind here but it mostly going over the ridge and not hitting me. I've had a mature doe bedded 80 yards away for 2 hours now. I couldn't ask for a better scenerio. Only time will tell. Goodluck to anyone out.

I'll also add, that doe has been dead down wind all morning. Literally blowing directly from me to her, and she's been as calm as can be. The ol scent smoker is doing its job!

Im about to put a stalk on through a big old bedding area. Hoping to find one locked down. Recurve will let me release an arrow in a hurry. Should be interesting. Gonna be slow going.

Good luck
